The college is situated at the foot of “Ajinkytara”, in the western part of Satara City. The college has well equipped building in Yadogopal Peth. It is well connected with bus services.
The library is an integral part of college.It is the real source of knowledge. It helps students to increase depth of knowledge. We always try to provide all the necessary books and references to our stuents. Our college library is reached and self sufficient with text books,reference books and encyclopedias.
The college has provided the facility of study room to the students to read at their own pace and time.
The set of text books are supplied to student by paying the price. The students use these textbooks throughout the year and returns to the library at the end of examination.
The college magazine provides an opportunity to the creative abilities of the students. The literature, especially articles,poems,short stories, travelogues , one act plays,critical essays and draings produced by the students is published in the magazine. A number of articles published in the magazine get prizes at the university and state level competition.

The college has it?s own playing ground. We provide sport equipment and other facilities of almost all the national and international games to our students.Director of Physical education looks after all the activities on the playground and guide the player in building of their career in sport.
The college has started National Service Scheme from academic year 1977-78. A hundred students from senior wing and 100 students from junior wing are enrolled in this scheme every year.

There are number of departments like Marathi Vangmaya Mandal,Hindi Sahitya Mandal,English literacy association,culture development,vidyarthini kalian mandal,competitive examination guidance bureau , sabha sammelana vibhag etc. which organize various activities for all ground development of the student.
The college has started group insurance scheme for all the students and their parents from JUNE 2003, which covers accidental benefit at the premium of Rs. 15 per student per annum as per the guideline of Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
The College has started various courses under the Centre for Community Development.The design of courses,syllabi,course fees,duration etc. are given on the following pages.The courses are highly beneficial to the students in findings jobs or for self employment.
The college has developed a well equipped Computer Laboratory with all the advanced software facilities. The students can avail the various Computer courses in Information Technology started by the college. The necessary information of the Information Technology courses is available in the College office.
The college celebrates “The Prize Distribution Day” every year with great enthusiasm and festivity. The students who have won the prize in Sports,Essay and Elocution competitions, Board and University examinations and many such activities at the auspicious hands of the honourable guests.
The college arranges tutorials , assignments , periodical tests , unit tests , semester examinations , preliminary examinations , practical examinations , practical examinations , paper presentations , group discussions , mock interviews and viva-voce to test the progress of students from time to time. These exams are compulsory to all the students.
History department of the college arranges a lecture of renowned guest on the 7th January of each year. The student who stand first in college at B.A. III Special History won the Gaurav Puraskar and Certificate at the auspicious hands of the honourable guest.

Every student who takes admission in this college is issued an “Identity Card”. The student should possess the “Identity Card” in the premises of the college.
The committee is formed in the college to redress the complaints and problems of the students belonging to the reserved categories.
The students not availing freeship and E.B.C. facility have to pay the necessary fees as per the Government rules as shown in the table at the end of this prospectus.
